Installation

Download

Head to the download page and grab the installer for your platform.

macOS

1. Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Sigil into your Applications folder.
2. Open Sigil from your Applications folder.

Windows

Why this is needed

Windows will show a blue Windows protected your PC screen when you run the installer. This happens for any unsigned app downloaded from the internet.

1. Run the downloaded Sigil-amd64-installer.exe.
2. When the warning appears, click More info.
3. Click the Run anyway button.
4. Follow the installer prompts.

After install, Sigil launches normally from the Start menu.
